New JD5 and JD8 industrial engines
Exciting news! The new @John Deere JD5 and JD8 industrial engines will join the Next Generation Engine (NGE) lineup, expanding flexible power solutions to meet the evolving needs of OEM customers, backed by robust aftermarket and customer support.
The 5.0L JD5 is anticipated to deliver 125–268 hp (93–200 kW), while the 7.5L JD8 will offer a 250–389 hp (187–290 kW) power range. Both engines enhance mid‑range application coverage where power density and installation flexibility are critical, and they will be compatible with renewable diesel and biodiesel blends.
